1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/3 c. ketchup
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. drained crushed pineapple

Combine first 7 ingredients. Form into loaf (8 x 4 x 1 1/2 inch) in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees oven 40 minutes. Combine the 1/4 cup ketchup with the pineapple; spoon over loaf. Bake 30 minutes longer. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serves 6.
