BISHOP'S BREAD 
1/2 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. nuts, finely chopped
1/3 c. candied cherries
1/3 c. chocolate pieces
1/3 c. raisins

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla and beat. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together then add to creamed mixture, along with milk, nuts, cherries, chocolate pieces and raisins. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
