BUBBLE BREAD (ALIAS MONKEY
BREAD)
 
2 loaves bread dough
2 sticks melted butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
Cinnamon to taste
1 c. crushed walnuts

Grease and flour angel food cake pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon until sugar is dark (or to preference). Scatter 1/4 cup crushed walnuts on bottom of pan. Make small balls of dough. Dip in melted butter, then in sugar mix. Place on bottom of pan, then layer with nuts. Repeat until dough used. End with dough. Let sit 2 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cook for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
