CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 lb. round steak
2 lg. green peppers
1 lg. onion
1 can beef consomme
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. water

Cut round steak in strips and brown in oil. Cut onion and green pepper in 1-inch square pieces. Add 3/4 can of consomme and the vegetables to the meat. Cover and simmer 1 hour.

Combine cornstarch, water and soy sauce to make paste. Add to remaining consomme. Pour over meat. Stir and heat through. Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
