SPICY PUMPKIN LOAF 
3/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar (I use 1 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. honey)
4 eggs
1 lb. pumpkin (2 c.)
2/3 c. water
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves

1. Cream butter and sugar in large bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly. Mix in pumpkin and water.

2. In separate bowl combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture a little at a time until well blended.

3. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans. Pour batter into pans dividing evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until toothpick comes clean. Cool for 15 minutes, then remove from pan.
