2 pkg. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter, melted
cherry pie filling (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread 1 package crescent rolls in the bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix together cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour over crescent rolls. If using pie filling, spread over cream cheese mixture. Put another package of crescent rolls on top of filling. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar mixed with cinnamon. Drizzle melted butter over top.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
