OUR FAVORITE MEATLOAF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 egg 1 can tomato soup 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1-2 tbsp. chopped onion 1/8 tsp. chopped garlic 2 c. corn flakes, made into crumbs with blender, 1 c. 1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs 1/4 c. regular bread crumbs Ground pepper With fork beat egg, onion, parsley, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Add ground beef, 3/4 can tomato soup. Blend very well. Add corn flake crumbs and bread crumbs. Should be fairly firm to form into loaf. Add more plain bread crumbs if needed. Form into loaf. Bake in meatloaf casserole pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes to 1 hour. The last 15 minutes of cooking, add 2 tablespoons water to remainder of soup. Spread over meat loaf. Bake 15 minutes. Total cooking time, about 1 hour. Serves 4. |
