RUM SAUCE 
2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. rum
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Mix sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Add to boiling water. Boil for about 1 minute. Add butter, rum, vanilla, and nutmeg. Good on any fruit pie.
