GRANNY'S TRANSPARENT PIE | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 lb. or 1 c. butter 4 beaten eggs, slightly beaten together 2/3 c. cream 2 tbsp. flour (level measurement) 1 tbsp. or little more vanilla Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Cream sugar and butter together. Add flour and mix. Add eggs, cream and vanilla and mix well. Put into unbaked pie shells (the little pie shells you make and put into muffin pans). Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees for 15 more minutes. Turn off oven and let pies stay in oven a little longer, until set. Makes 1 dozen. |
