CHOCOLATE MINT MOUSSE PIE | |
6 tbsp. sugar, divided 2 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. cornstarch 2/3 of 10 oz. pkg. (1 c.) Nestles Toll House Mint chocolate morsels 1 1/2 c. milk 1 c. heavy cream One 9 inch prepared graham cracker crust In medium heavy gauge saucepan, combine 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch and morsels. Gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly over medium heat until mixture boils. Boil 1 minute; remove from heat. Transfer to large bowl; cover surface of chocolate mixture with plastic wrap. Cool to room temperature. In small bowl, combine heavy cream with remaining 2 tablespoon sugar; beat until stiff. Fold into chocolate mixture. Spoon into prepared pie crust. Chill until firm, about 2 to 3 hours. Makes one 9 inch pie. |
