QUICK CARAMEL BARS | |
Graham crackers 1 c. butter 1 c. dark brown sugar 3/4 c. quick-cooking oatmeal 1/2 c. coconut 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease well an 11x15 inch jelly roll pan. Line the bottom of the pan with whole graham crackers. In a saucepan, boil brown sugar and butter until they blend well and are syrup consistency. Mix together oatmeal, coconut and nuts and sprinkle over the syrup. Sprinkle chocolate chips over all. Bake 10 minutes. Cut while still warm. |
