PASTA AND BEANS 
1/2 lb. dried Northern beans (can also use canned ones)
1 can Hunts tomato sauce
1 sm. onion
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 lb. Ditali macaroni

Wash beans and pick over. If desired, quick cook beans according to directions (bring to hard boil, allow to boil two minutes only, remove from heat. cover and let stand one hour.) Do not drain beans. Add all ingredients except macaroni and cook about another hour until beans are tender. Add macaroni and cook another 10 minutes or so until tender. Stir occasionally. Serves 4.
