APPLESAUCE AND JAM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 c. all purpose flour
2 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1 c. blackberry jam
2 c. applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in the applesauce
4 eggs
2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time; add jam and mix well. Add the dry ingredients with the applesauce. Fold in raisins and nuts. Bake in greased and floured large tube pan in 350 degree oven. (This makes a large cake).
