EGGLESS JAM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. jam
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts

Cream butter and sugar together. Add milk to which soda has been added, sift flour and salt, then add to above mixture, add cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla. Add raisins, jam and nuts. Bake in 9 inch cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees. Makes 3-4 layers.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 c. cream
