1 sm. pkg. instant jello, any flavor
1 pkg. mini marshmallows
1 stick butter
3 qts. popped popcorn

In a large saucepan, melt 6 tablespoons butter. Add marshmallows and stir over medium heat until they are all melted. Add the package of jello and mix well. Pour over the popcorn; mix and form into balls. Use the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to grease your hands with.

To make popcorn Christmas trees, use lime jello and instead of forming into balls shapes, form into a cone shape. Set the cones point-side up on a paper plate and decorate with small candies such as cinnamon red hots or M&M'S®.
