COWBOY TACOS
SHELLS:

1 c. flour
1 c. corn meal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder

Using uncooked lean ground beef, pat meat into half of a rolled out shell. Fold the other half over meat. Meat should be about 1/4 inch thick. Fry tacos in 1/4 inch of hot oil or melted shortening until each side is lightly brown; turn once.

Top with shredded lettuce, cheese, onion, and tomato and salsa or taco sauce. To add toppings, gently life 1 side of shell.

EASY SAUCE:

1 med. can tomato sauce
1/2 pkg. taco seasoning

Mix and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and use hot as sauce for tacos.
