RED BEANS AND RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 can tomatoes (2 cups)
1 c. water
1 c. raw rice
1 can red kidney beans
1 tbsp. chili powder

Brown meat. Add tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, chili powder. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add rice and kidney beans. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover well with foil. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour. Stir once lightly. Cover again and bake 1/2 hour longer.
