MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 to 1 c. very finely chopped pecans (opt.) Cream butter. Add powdered sugar gradually. Cream until smooth. Add flour, salt and vanilla. Mixture will be stiff. Pinch off small pieces of dough. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Roll cookies in powdered sugar immediately after removing from oven. |
