NUTTY STRAWBERRY LOAF 
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. strawberries, sliced and sweetened, fresh or thawed and drained frozen

Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil, strawberries and pecans; stir just until all ingredients are moistened. Spoon batter into 2 well-greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pans 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool. Yields: 2 loaves. Serve with Cream Cheese Spread. Freezes well.

CREAM CHEESE SPREAD:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sweetened mashed strawberries
1/4 c. powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients until creamy. Use to spread on slices of Strawberry Bread. May be served with other breads or uniced cakes.
