FRUIT CRISP 
1 pkg. (qt.) cherries or 1 jar (qt.) peaches or 1 qt. apples (if you choose apples, add 1/2 c. water)
1/2 stick butter, melted
White cake mix, either a pkg. Jiffy cake mix or 1/2 pkg. regular cake mix
1/2 c. sugar

Grease an 8"x8" pan. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with whichever fruit you choose. Melt 1/2 stick of butter and drizzle over the top of the dry cake mix on top of the fruit of your choice. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
