CHRISTMAS PRESERVES 
2 oranges
4 c. cranberries
3 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nut meats

Grate the rind of the oranges and remove the white membrane from the pulp. Cut pulp in small pieces. Add 2 cups water to peel and pulp and cook for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients except the nuts and boil over high heat to jelly stage. Add nuts and boil 5 minutes. Pour into hot jars and seal.
