CHOCOLATE MINK BARS 
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. butter or melt semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt chocolate and shortening together. Remove from heat. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Bake in greased pan at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool in refrigerator.

Cream together powdered sugar, milk, butter (soft) and extract. Add green food color. Spread on top. Cool in refrigerator.

Melt chocolate and spread on cold green frosting. Keep cool.
