1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 tbsp. butter

Combine all ingredients in 2-quart heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture it thick and smooth. Serve warm over ice cream or squares of cake.
