ONION/MUSHROOM POT ROAST 
1 med. chuck roast
1 pkg. onion/mushroom gravy sauce mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 sm. garlic or substitute powder (1 tsp.)
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground pepper

Use a deep pot roast pan. Place roast in pan and brown roast on medium high heat, brown roast on both sides. Remove from heat, pour the onion/mushroom gravy mix on top of roast. Add garlic, cream of mushroom, Worcestershire with water, add salt and pepper to your desired taste. Place again on low flame, cover tightly with lid and cook on top of stove for about 2 hours or until tender at very low flame.
