RED VELVET CAKE 
2 1/2 tbsp. Nestle's instant cocoa mix
2 oz. food color (red)
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco, eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix in buttermilk, salt, flour and vanilla. Add 1 teaspoon vinegar and 1 teaspoon baking soda to food coloring. Mix, then add to rest of mixture and mix well. Bake at 325 degrees for 3 minutes.
