FRUIT COMPOTE 
2 firm ripe pears or apples
12 oz. dried prunes
1 orange
1/2 c. honey or sugar
Hot water

Peel and core and slice apples or pears. Arrange with dried fruit in large baking dish. Grate rind of orange over fruit. Peel and section orange; add to dish. Drizzle with honey or sugar. Add enough water to cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If using microwave 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
