FRUIT COMPOTE 
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. very thin lemon rind strips
1/4 c. lemon juice
8 c. assorted fresh fruit (melons, strawberries, peaches, plums, grapes, peaches, etc.)

In large bowl, stir together corn syrup, lemon rind, lemon juice and orange juice until well blended. Add fruit; toss to coat well. Refrigerate several hours.
