MEEMAS TUNA SOUFFLE | |
6 slices of bread 2 c. milk 2 tbsp. butter 2 cans tuna, drained and flaked 4 eggs, beaten well 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. celery seed Tear bread into small pieces. Put in saucepan and cover with milk. Set aside for 5 to 10 minutes. Add butter. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring so it doesn't stick. Remove from heat when it resembles a pudding. Then add tuna, beat well. Then add rest of the ingredients and stir; put in a greased 9 x 13 glass casserole. Cook at 325 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until firm in the center. Cut into squares and serve warm. Serves 6. Easy to make. Most ingredients are readily available in most kitchens! |
