VEGETABLE BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew meat
2 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 pkg. carrots, sliced
6 potatoes, cubed
4 sm. onions, whole
1 can peas, drained
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cold water

Brown meat in the oil. Add 4 cups boiling water and 1 medium onion, sliced. Add spices. Cover and simmer 2 hours or until tender. Add vegetables and cook 30 minutes or until done. Remove vegetables and meat and add flour and water which have been blended together. Stir until thickened. Add vegetables, meat, and can of peas. Heat through.
