BEEF AND VEGETABLE STEW 
2 lb. beef for stew
2 tsp. salt and pepper
1/4 c. flour
1 lg. onion
3 tbsp. oil
1 pkg. gravy mix
1 can tomato sauce
6 lg. carrots
6 potatoes
2 c. frozen peas
1 1/2 c. water

Trim beef and cut into cubes. Brown beef with flour and oil. Add gravy mix and water. Put all ingredients into crock pot and add peas. Make in the morning and cook in crock pot all day for dinner.
