GRANOLA BARS 
2 sticks butter (1/4 lb. each)
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. Karo syrup
4 3/4 c. rolled oats (quick cook)

Melt butter in pan. Add sugar and syrup. Mix well. Add oatmeal. May add coconut, peanut butter, chocolate chips or raisins for added flavor. Press in jelly roll pan (10 x 15-inch). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Cool, cut and serve.
