EASY TOMATO-LESS CHILI 
3/4 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 med. clove garlic, minced
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
3/4 c. beef-flavor broth
5 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper

Saute beef in skillet, stirring to break up pieces, until lightly browned. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon fat. Saute onions, peppers and garlic until green pepper is tender. Combine with meat. Stir in beans, broth and seasonings. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. I usually double or triple this recipe. It also freezes well.
