ROLL-THE-CAN ICE CREAM 
1 c. whipping cream
1 c. milk
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together above ingredients.

You will need an empty 1 pound can with lid and a 3 pound can with lid.

Pour mixture into 1 pound can and cover. Place this into 3 pound can. Pack crushed ice and salt between cans and cover. Roll 10 minutes back and forth between children sitting on the floor. Open and stir mixture. Repack and roll 5 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
