2 c. raisins
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves

Boil raisins covered with water for 15 minutes. Let cool. Beat 2 eggs, add sugar and butter, beat well. Blend in 2 cups flour alternately with raisins and water. Add salt and spices, blend well. Bake in 9 x 11 inch greased pan, lightly floured. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
