EARLY AMERICAN CHERRY CRISP 
3 c. red pitted cherries, drained
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1/2 c. flour
1 c. Quaker oats
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Combine cherries and almond extract. Place in greased 9 inch pan. Combine dry ingredients, add butter mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over cherries. Bake in preheated moderate oven, 375 degrees, for 20 to 25 minutes.
