CHESS PIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
1 tsp. vanilla

Prepare your favorite pie crust recipe. Cut dough into large circles and line 12 greased muffin cups.

Cream butter and sugar together; add eggs, vanilla, raisins, and nuts. Pour batter into lined cups until each is 3/4 full. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be served with whipped cream.
