AUNT NELLIE'S WHITE FRUITCAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 lb. sugar
1/2 doz. eggs
1/2 lb. pecans
1/2 lb. pineapple
1 lb. white raisins
1/2 sm. bag coconut
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. cherries
1/4 lb. citron
1/2 lb. white flour

Thoroughly mix butter and sugar. This can be accomplished best by melting butter. Add the eggs, baking powder, flour, lemon extract and vanilla in that order. It is best to save a small amount of flour to mix with nuts to keep them from sticking together.

Put 1/2 of mix in pan. Place cherries in circle and dd rest of batter. Bake 2 hours at 250 oven. If browning too fat reduce temperature to 225. Test with broom straw.
