WELSH RAREBIT 
2/3 c. milk
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. dry mustard
Few drops Tabasco sauce
1 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Combine milk, egg and seasonings in a saucepan and mix until blended. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly with a wire whip, until the mixture is steaming hot and coats the spoon. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheese. Can be served over toast or used as fondue dip.
