MANICOTTI 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/3 lb. sausage (Italian)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp. green pepper
2 tbsp. onion
1/4 c. cheddar cheese
1/4 c. Mozzarella cheese
1 (32 oz.) jar favorite prepared spaghetti sauce
1 1/3 c. additional Mozzarella cheese (for topping)

Cook manicotti shells; drain and cool. Mix all ingredients well and stuff shells. Place in baking dish and pour 3 1/2 cups (32 ounce jar) of favorite spaghetti sauce over shells. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. About 5 to 10 minutes before taking out, sprinkle 1 1/3 cups Mozzarella cheese on top and return to oven for remaining time.
