6 c. sugar
3 c. cider vinegar
1 c. fresh ground onion
1/2 gal. oil
1/3 c. salad mustard
1/4 c. salt
1/4 c. celery seed

Add oil slowly and beat very well and hard. Makes 1 gallon.
