BLACK CHERRY JELLO SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. black cherry Jello
1 (15 oz.) can sweet dark cherries (pitted if available)
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese

Drain can of cherries and reserve juice. Cut cherries in half and pit. Set aside. Cut cream cheese into small cubes. Set aside. In a large bowl, dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add cherry juice and enough cold water to measure 1 3/4 cups. Stir well and refrigerate until partially set. Stir in cherries and cream cheese. Chill until firm. Serve as salad or dessert.
