SOUR CREAM CAKE 
2 sticks butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sifted flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add vanilla. Mix soda into sour cream and add to creamed mixture with sifted flour. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hour. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Frost with Easy Caramel Frosting.
