MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. self rising meal
3 eggs, beaten
1 can cream style corn
2/3 c. cooking oil
1 c. milk or buttermilk
1 sm. can chopped green chilies
1 onion, chopped
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
Salt to taste
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix well and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
