DEER MEAT 
2 tbsp. butter
garlic salt
onions (optional)
peppers (optional)

You will also need a cast-iron skillet.

Melt butter in skillet. Put 1 teaspoon garlic salt with butter. Add meat. Cook on medium-low heat or simmer. Put onions or peppers or both on meat. Turn over every 5 to 7 minutes until ready. Don't overcook. It will dry out.
