CHICKEN A LA KING 
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
2 c. diced chicken
1/4 c. pepper, chopped
Sm. onion

(Bouillon cubes - or I use broth packets).

Saucepan - melt 1/4 cup butter - cook pepper and onion until soft. Add salt, flour, broth and milk all at once. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce is thick and bubbly. Cook boneless chicken in microwave until done, dice and add to sauce. Serve over rice, noodles or toast. (Turkey can be substituted for chicken).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
