HAM LOAF 
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 lb. lean pork, ground
1 lb. smoked ham, ground
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
4 c. corn flakes

Pat sugar evenly over the bottom of greased 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2 3/4 casserole. Combine meats; add seasonings and chopped pepper and mix thoroughly.

Beat eggs; add milk and again beat lightly. Add to the meat mixture with cornflakes. Pack in casserole and smooth top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Delicious. Yield: About 12 slices.
