ONE - SKILLET SPAGHETTI | |
1 lb. hamburger 2 med. onions, chopped 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained 2 tsp. salt 7 oz. uncooked thin spaghetti, broken into pieces 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes 3/4 green peppers 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. chili powder 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Cook and stir hamburger and onions in a 10 inch skillet until hamburger is light brown. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, with liquid, green pepper, water, mushrooms, salt, sugar, chili powder, and spaghetti; break up tomatoes with a fork. Heat to boiling, reduce heat. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally until spaghetti is tender, about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and heat until cheese is melted. Serve. |
