AROUND THE ISLAND FRUIT PUNCH 
1 (29 oz.) can pear halves, chilled
3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice, chilled
1 qt. pineapple, orange or lemon sherbet
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (28 oz.) bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

Place undrained pears and frozen lemonade in blender container. Cover; blend until smooth. Combine with pineapple juice and 2 cups cold water. Pour about 3/4 cup fruit mixture into each glass. Slowly add carbonated beverage, pour down side of glass and leaving 2 inches at top. Top each with a sherbet scoop. Makes 10 (12 ounce) servings.
