SIX WEEK MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box bran cereal
4 eggs, well beaten
5 tsp. baking soda
1 qt. buttermilk
1 c. melted shortening
3 c. sugar
5 c. flour
2 tsp. salt

Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in a very large bowl. Add eggs, shortening, butter, milk and mix. Store in a covered container in refrigerator. Keeps for 6 weeks. Bake as many as you need at a time in greased muffin tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
