QUICK VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
10 oz. pkg. Green Giant mixed vegetables frozen in butter sauce, thawed
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 beef-flavor bouillon cube or 1 tsp. beef-flavor instant bouillon
4 c. tomato juice

In Dutch oven or large skillet, brown ground beef with onion; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. 4 (1 1/2 cup) servings.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine ground beef and onion. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, stirring once halfway through cooking; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Microwave on high for 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil, stirring once halfway through cooking.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
